I'm guessing that this was surgery on your robot, or to remove a robot, or possibly to turn you into a robot, though I was unaware of you having either a robot or desire to become one, and a robot inside you brings up uncomfortable questions ....
Bernie has just helped me understand that your surgery was done BY a robot. Wow. I sincerely hope that it was a much better machine than the one which toasts my bread ( and can't do so without either popping up warm white bread or smoking black char unless I stand beside it and press the Cancel button at the right moment).
Glad your surgery went well and I hope your recovery is prompt and complete. I think it was grade 7 and I would have been 12 and I think we were studying The Merchant of Venice. By way of interpretation our English teacher read aloud to us from Richard Armour’s Twisted Tales from Shakespeare. I was the only student in the class who was literally convulsed and in tears listening to Armour’s punning précis of the play. My interest in Shakespeare grew, not from reading out the play in class (yes, we each took turns taking parts), but from reading Armour and wanting to go to the originals.David Vereschaginhttp://www.quadrat.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4110997.post-66902879819760854922012-10-31T20:19:47.906-06:002012-10-31T20:19:47.906-06:00haha nice! thanks! :)
