Presentations at WordBridge Writers' Conference

Spent the weekend at Wordbridge: Writers' Society of Lethbridge annual convention. I did a presentation on (1) the most common errors I see as a fiction editor in manuscripts across my desk (not shown), (2) Writing When Your Dead, a (3) Blue Pencil Café (not shown) and a panel (4) on "Hitting Send" with Alison McBain, Christina Romeril, and Joan Donaldson Yarmey, which was on dealing with rejection. The Writing When Your Dead (estate planning for authors) presentation was a last-minute addition to fill in for a cancellation. I spoke briefly at Shadowpaw Press book launch of Jenna Greene's Broken Rhealm novel.

It was an excellent convention. I find hanging with other authors reinvigorating, and WordBridge is a good size: large enough to have a bunch of interesting writers, but small enough to still be intimate.
